  71. description of the package and its features, along with instructions for
  72. its installation.  Quite detailed documentation is included in the
  73. package, but it is in archived form, and is more easily read after
  74. installation.

  77. computer then PayWindow is the program for you...

  79. PayWindow is a shareware program.  This evaluation version includes all
  80. features of the program, and is not crippled in any way.  You may use it
  81. for up to 30 days, without charge (see README.TXT and PAYWIN.HLP for more
  82. details).  If you like the program, and wish to continue its use after
  83. this evaluation period, you are required to pay for the program (see
  84. ORDER.TXT for more details).  Any fee you may have paid to others (disk
  85. vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this evaluation version was a fee for
  86. their copying and distribution services, rather than a payment for

  109. The installation procedure for PayWindow is quite simple.  The
  110. package includes a program, "SETUP.EXE", which automates the
  111. entire process.  You will need about 2MB of available disk space
  112. on the hard drive on which you plan to install PayWindow.
  113.  
  114. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received
  115. PayWindow.
  116.  
  117.  
  118. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  119.  
  120. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.
  121.  
  122.    o  Place PayWindow's distribution diskette in the appropriate
  123.       diskette drive.
  124.  
  125.    o  Execute the "SETUP.EXE" program on the distribution diskette.
  126.       For example, if the distribution diskette is on drive A:, type
  127.       in the Windows RUN command, "a:setup".
  128.  
  129.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.
  130.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any changes
  131.       are actually made to the contents of your hard drive.  The
  132.       program will ask you for a destination directory, and will copy
  133.       the PayWindow files to that directory. If you so direct it,
  134.       the installation program will install executable programs
  135.       and documentation in other directories of your choice.  It
  136.       will make no other changes; specifically, it will not modify
  137.       your autoexec.bat or config.sys files.

  140. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  141.  
  142. If you downloaded PayWindow from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  143. archive files from some other source), you will need to perform the
  144. following steps.

  146.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file(s) in a temporary
  147.       directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  148.       varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
  149.       In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means
  150.       that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
  151.       perform this step.  If not, you should be able to obtain
  152.       directions for this from the same source from which you received
  153.       the package.

  155.    o  Execute the "SETUP.EXE" program which you have extracted.  For
  156.       example, if the temporary directory into which you have extracted
  157.       the PayWindow package is C:\TEMPDIR, you would execute the RUN

  181. and will give you other information you need to properly evaluate
